Deathchase

Deathchase is widely regarded as one of the finest games ever released for the Sinclair Spectrum. First launched in 1983 by Mervyn J. Estcourt, it pushed the hardware to its limits with fast scrolling, smooth animation, and an intense sense of speed that was almost unheard of on 8 bit systems at the time.

In this video, I play Deathchase on the Sinclair Spectrum core running on MiSTer FPGA, capturing the game exactly as it was meant to be experienced. The MiSTer FPGA delivers cycle accurate hardware recreation, making it ideal for showcasing classic games like this at their very best.

This video includes live commentary throughout the gameplay, covering design, difficulty, and why Deathchase still holds up decades later. If you love classic videogames, real hardware accuracy, or discovering legendary titles you may have missed, this channel is built for you.

If you are new here, this channel is dedicated to playing and preserving videogame history across classic systems, with clear gameplay capture and honest commentary aimed at both long time fans and newcomers alike.
