Jetpac

Jetpac returns in an intriguing Commodore 64 form as we take a look at this rare C64 version on MiSTer FPGA, with gameplay and commentary with this version created by Gary Pearson.

Originally released by Ultimate Play the Game in 1983, Jetpac became one of the defining early titles from the company founded by Tim and Chris Stamper. The original game appeared on the ZX Spectrum while a Commodore 64 version was never officially released by Ultimate.

Jetpac itself has an important place in retro gaming history. The original game won Game of the Year at the 1983 Golden Joystick Awards, and the Jetman series subsequently continued with Lunar Jetman and Solar Jetman.
